Adele has moved on up -- to the celeb-filled west side of London.

The singer purchased a £5 million Kensington, West London, home where she will live with her partner, entrepreneur Simon Konecki, and their new baby son named Angelo.according to the Daily Mail's Mail On Sunday, The neighborhood is known for being a celebrity hotspot. Fellow neighborhood residents include the Beckhams - recently-retired footballer David and ex-Spice Girl and current fashion designer Victoria - and celebrity chef Nigella Lawson.

"She moved in a couple of months ago," a source told the publication. "The property has four bedrooms."

The singer reportedly stepped up the security in her new place. Though the home is on a private road in a gated community, Adele is said to have added bulletproof windows to protect her family from possible intruders. The singer has previously had some odd occurrences in her housing history. She reportedly moved a bodyguard into a house she rented in West Sussex because she claimed the house to be haunted.

Adele was also recently given a great honor from the Queen of England: she was named a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire as part of the Queen's annual birthday honors on June 14.

Some of the other celebrities who also received honors that day include fellow singer PJ Harvey, Mr. Bean actor Rowan Atkinson and writer Jackie Collins.

Adele won six Grammy related to her top-selling album 21 and an Oscar for her work on the recent James Bond theme song Skyfall, as well as a Golden Globe and a BRIT award. Glamour UK claimed that the singer is currently working on a new album.
