Luann De Lesseps Returns To 'RHONY' Filming After Rehab Stint
Luann de Lesseps has reunited with her Real Housewives of New York City after a short stint in rehab earlier this month.
Following a dramatic drunken arrest in Palm Beach, Florida, the longtime reality star and mother of two sought treatment for substance abuse. Months later, she reunited with her costars, including Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Tinsley Mortimer, and Bethenny Frankel, for a cast trip to Connecticut.
Singer shared a photo from their trip, which also included Dorinda Medley and Carole Radziwill, on Instagram but later removed the image from her page. Around the same time, de Lesseps took to her Twitter page and told her fans and followers that it was "good to be home."
"Luann looks fantastic, she really has made great progress in rehab. She is back and better than ever," a source told the Daily Mail on Jan. 23. "She feels terrible about what happened and wants to make it right."
De Lesseps was arrested on Christmas Eve after reportedly being caught in bed with a man in a hotel room that wasn't hers. Shortly therafter, she released a statement online, admitting that she wasn't in the best place when she returned to the area for the first time since marrying her now-ex-husband Tom D'Agostino Jr.
De Lesseps married Tom D'Agostino Jr., her second husband, on New Year's Eve of 2016 and announced they were calling it quits the following August.
According to the Daily Mail report, de Lesseps' latest outing with her costars is her first get together with the cast since her arrest in Florida. During their time together, de Lesseps reportedly told her side of what really went down in the moments leading up to her arrest.
"She claims that she wasn’t with a guy half her age and this was all a terrible misunderstanding. She is very humbled," a friend explained. "She’s also taking names and kicking a**. She is well aware of who spoke to the press about her and told lies and she will deal with them once she is back in New York."
