Season 3 of AMC's The Killing Episode 5 will feature Holder and Linden searching for a woman they predict will be the next victim of a yet unnamed serial killer on the loose.

The episode will be entitled Scared and Running, according to Access Hollywood, which published photos of the episode on Thursday.

According to AMC, Holder will be more confident this season than he was in season 1 and 2. His character is more developed and mature. He is studying for the sergeant's exam and he is dating an assistant district attorney.

We have yet to see how Linden stepping back into his life will affect him. In the previous seasons, the two detectives routinely worked night after night in search of Rosie Larsen's killer. Will they fall into the same pattern and will it derail Holder's plans?

Season 3 of The Killing premiered on June 2, bringing the once canceled show back to life. AMC executives announced in July 2012 that the series would not be brought back for a third season.

Less than a year later, the first episode of the third aired, thanks to a deal made between a producer of Fox Television Studios, AMC and Netflix, which will stream Season 3 90 days after the finale airs.

After much criticism for solving the murder of Rosie Larsen over the course of two seasons, executive producer Veena Sud has vowed that the main case this season will be resolved by the end of 12 episodes.

The Killing airs Sunday at 9/8c on AMC.
