Jill Zarin And Bethenny Frankel Made Nice At Bobby's Funeral
Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel have mended their friendship after several years of estrangement.
As The Real Housewives of New York City continues to film its 10th season, new details regarding the two reality stars' reconciled relationship have been revealed.
“Jill and Bethenny have truly made up, and Bethenny has been there for Jill more than any other Housewife,” a source told Us Weekly on Jan. 29.
The insider said that after reconciling their relationship during Zarin's husband's funeral, Frankel has been spending time with Zarin at her apartment in New York City and calling her every day. She's also reportedly gone to extreme lengths to ensure Zarin is okay.
Earlier this month, after Bobby Zarin lost his years-long battle with cancer, his wife and her former costar reunited at his funeral as the cameras of The Real Housewives of New York City filmed for the series's upcoming 10th season.
“Bethenny is in a different place in life right now; she has a child, and being a mom has softened her," the Us Weekly magazine insider explained. "She also realizes that what she went through with Jill pales in comparison to what other Housewives have put her through … Bethenny has ended her beef with Jill once and for all.”
According to the report, Bobby Zarin was diagnosed with thyroid cancer years ago, and in 2009, he beat the illness. Then four years later, it was announced that his cancer had returned and spread into his lungs. After that, in 2016, Zarin told her fans and followers that Bobby's cancer had spread to his brain.
While some fans and followers of the show and of Frankel and Zarin felt it was in poor taste for the reality star to allow the Bravo TV film crew to film scenes outside of her husband's funeral for the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City, the Us Weekly magazine source said that Zarin chose to invite the crew to Bobby's funeral in an effort to have him memorialize on the show and to include footage of his close friends and family members. That said, Zarin didn't actually think that she would see Frankel at the ceremony.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 10 is expected to air on Bravo TV sometime later this year. No word yet on whether Zarin will be featured in a full-time or part-time role.
