Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber Are 'Arguing' Constantly: Ready For A Breakup?
Jelena may soon come to an end. Although Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber appeared to be going strong weeks ago, an insider claims they are currently at odds.
Three months into their reunion, a source says Gomez and Bieber are struggling to make their relationship work as Gomez is reportedly overrun by her ongoing insecurities about Bieber.
“Selena and Justin have been arguing nonstop,” a source told Life & Style, via a Hollywood Life report on Jan. 31. “Their closest friends are saying they’re on the verge of breaking up.”
According to the report, Gomez has been unable to “get over her jealousy issues” with Bieber and was said to be "bitter" about his recent trip to the Maldives with his mother, Pattie Mallette, which occurred during the time that Gomez tended to her busy career in New York City. As the source explained, Gomez wouldn't leave Bieber alone during his vacation, and ultimately, he decided to put his phone on silent and not be bothered.
“Selena was constantly calling Justin during his trip, and he reached a boiling point and put his phone on silent,” the source added. “Justin’s become tired of Selena’s issues… He still cares about her, but he’s had enough of her overbearing behavior. He’s at his wit’s end.”
News of Gomez and Bieber's potentially impending split comes after a report days ago that suggested the two had been keeping their relationship out of the spotlight due to Gomez's ongoing issues with her mother, Mandy Teefey.
“For now, Justin and Selena have decided to keep their forbidden love private, behind closed doors, some place only they can share,” a source explained to Hollywood Life.
As the report noted, Gomez is sick and tired of having to defend herself and her relationship to her mother each time she's spotted publicly with Bieber. So rather than step out in public, the couple had reportedly been spending their time out of the spotlight and away from the prying eye of paparazzi in Los Angeles.
Gomez struck up a new relationship with Bieber at the end of October around the time of her split from The Weeknd. As Gomez's fans and followers will recall, Gomez began dating The Weeknd in January of last year and proceeded to follow the musician on his tour around the world.
