Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth Relationship is Taking Work & is 'Big Effort,' Source Claims
Miley Cyrus is very much still engaged to Liam Hemsworth, confirmed on a number of instances recently, but an insider said the couple is working hard to keep the relationship strong.
An insider told Perez Hilton their engagement is real but "it's a roller coaster." With the recent news of her parents splitting after 19 years of marriage and five children together, Cyrus is looking now more than ever to make her own relationship last. She is taking the work upon herself, as her time continues to get split between her fiance and promotions for her new music. This month she already released two new songs, one music video and is gearing for the release of her 2013 album.
"Miley is making a big effort to make it work. Her family is falling apart right now, the last thing she needs is to lose Liam too so she's been making him a priority," the insider said. "She's had a change of heart when it come to her relationship, she was so obsessed with her album and making this big transition that she did take Liam for granted and she doesn't want to do that anymore."
The 20-year-old is reportedly trying "to find a way to balance it all" because she wants to keep the Hunger Games actor, 23, in her life "and make it last forever."
Cyrus confirmed that she is still engaged to Hemsworth in interview conducted earlier in June. When asked about a possible, romantic relationship with Justin Bieber, she explained, "I'm engaged, I'm engaged. That is impossible." She and Hemsworth were photographed on Monday night out in public together for the first time in five months. They headed hand-in-hand into a movie theater in Hollywood and the singer had on her 3.5 carat Neil Lane engagement ring that Hemsworth proposed with in 2012.

The couple met on the set of their 2010 film The Last Song and got engaged in June of 2012.
