Jay-Z will release Magna Carta Holy Grail, his twelfth solo studio album on July 7, and the rapper has given another mini preview of what fans can expect.

In the video released by Samsung on Thursday, the rapper is in the studio making music with Timbaland.

"We should make like four more this week since we got time," Jay-Z said in the clip. "I think I'm ready now like before it was just the warmup."

This is the second preview of his upcoming project. The first was a three minute video released on June 16.

"Pretty much what the album is, it's this duality of, 'How do you navigate through this whole thing, through success through the failures, through all this and remain yourself?'" he said in the initial video.

In that video, Jay-Z and Timbaland are joined in the studio by producer Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams.

Samsung has collaborated with Jay-Z and will release one million free downloads of the upcoming album to Galaxy mobile phone owners three days before its official release. But, Billboard won't count these free copies as part of Jay-Z's album sales on the charts.

"The passionate and articulate argument by Jay's team that something was for sale and Samsung bought it also doesn't mesh with precedent," Billboard's Editorial Director Bill Werde wrote in a statement on Friday.

He also wrote, "But our role as the chart of record is to set the rules, and hopefully even raise the level of play."

Still, Jay-Z isn't one to abide by guidelines. He even has a website for the new album MagnaCartaHolyGrail.com with the headline, "We need to write the new rules."

Magna Carta Holy Grail will be Jay-Z's first solo album since 2009's The Blueprint 3. For this album, Jay-Z has been recording with Drake, Timbaland, Nas, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake. Ne-Yo has also been a part of the process.

"The thing about Jay is again you don't know until it's done," Ne-Yo told Billboard on Wednesday. "I went in, I did a session where I laid down a couple hooks but I have no idea what's going to be kept. I heard some of the new stuff. It's amazing. With Jay-Z it's hard not to be amazing."
