Miley Cyrus's new music video for We Can't Stop is gaining quite the following. And now, pop princess Britney Spears has asked Cyrus for twerking lessons.

Spears tweeted a link to Miley's new video, writing, "Loving your new video for #WeCantStop @MileyCyrus! Maybe you can teach me how to twerk sometime LOL ;) xo."

The Hannah Montana star quickly responded, adding: "we could twerk it out in exchange for u teaching me da moves 2 slave for you (I've been practicing for the past 10 years)"

I'm a Slave 4 U was a huge hit for Spears back in 2001.

Let's hope these two collaborate soon -- and share the experience with their fans. That's one duo we'd totally love to see working together.

The video, directed by Diane Martel, features the former Disney star dancing in a giant teddy bear costume, wearing a gold grill and kissing a doll while in a pool. And of course, a lot of twerking.

On June 8, Cyrus was watching Juicy J’s performance with Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose when they allegedly pushed her on stage at the House of Blues in Los Angeles where he was performing. As she hopped up on stage, Miley began twerking it to Juicy J's Bandz A Make Her Dance.

Cyrus is a big fan of hip-hop culture, as evidenced by her recent twerk viedo, but the singer told Billboard she has no interest in becoming a rapper.

"A lot of people wanted to try to make me the white Nicki Minaj," said Cyrus in the interview. "That's not what I'm trying to do. I love 'hood' music, but my talent is as a singer."
