Drake made a special announcement on his website on Saturday.

The rapper revealed that on Sept. 17 he will release his third album Nothing Was The Same. While fans have to wait three months until its release, in the meantime they can listen to the four new songs Drake also released along with the announcement.

"Would you like some music?" Drake wrote on his Twitter with a link to the website.

The first, called Jodeci Freestyle, features rapper J. Cole. The Motion features a relatively unknown artist Sampha. The Canadian native also posted two songs in which he is only the guest artist including Party Next Door's Over Here and Migo's Versace.

"This is my f--cking moment to say if I wanted to rap all the time, really rap, I would, but I also love to make music," he told GQ in July about the album. "I'll do this for you right now. But it's for me, too. It's my story... I'm trying to get back to that kid in the basement. To say what he has to say. And I'm trying to make it last."

In May, Drake also confirmed via Twitter that the album will feature Jhene Aiko. The two previously collaborated on the song July from his 2010 mix tape Something You Forgot.

The album will be the follow-up to his sophomore album Take Care which was released in 2011. The album, which peaked to No.1 on Billboard, also went multi-platinum. Drake released his debut Thank Me Later a year prior which also went platinum.

One week following the album's release, the rapper will head on tour with Future and Miguel.

The tour - named Would You Like a Tour? - will kick off on Sept. 25 in Portland, Ore. and will end on Nov. 25 in Los Angeles, Calif. View all the tour dates here.
