Quarterback Tim Tebow has been traded to the New York Jets.

The former Denver Bronco quarterback came to New York in exchange for two 2012 NFL draft picks, a fourth-round and and a sixth-round picks, according to ESPN. New York will get a 2012 seventh-round pick from Denver.

Tebow was replaced as the Broncos starting quarterback on Monday when the team announced it had signed 4 Time NFL MVP and 2007 Super Bowl Champion Peyton Manning.

Tebow, who led the Broncos to a series of electrifying comeback wins in the 2011-2012 season and an unforgettable win in the playoffs, will go to a team which did not make the postseason.
