Katrina Bowden Wedding: '30 Rock' Actress Gushes About Married Life: Is She Ready for Kids? [EXCLUSIVE]
One month after tying the knot, Katrina Bowden is settling into married life with musician hubby Ben Jorgensen.
"Married life is great," the 30 rock actress told Enstars. "The wedding was such a special, wonderful day. We are still reminiscing about the day and looking at all the photos now. It is so fun and exciting."
Bowden, 24, and the former Armor for Sleep musician said "I do" on May 19 at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in front of 127 guests.
"Married life is good. Nothing has changed a whole lot. It's just this lovely feeling of love," she said at P&G's Everday Effect event in New York.
The couple will jet off to Hawaii for their honeymoon in September.
"I've never been to Hawaii, but I've heard it's beautiful," said Bowden, who was named Esquire's 2011 "Sexiest Woman Alive."
For now, the pair are enjoying the honeymoon phase and aren't rushing to start a family. Bowden said their pomeranian Puffin "is all the family we need right now."
"Starting a family will be a decision years down the road," she added.
Following her stint as Cerie on 30 Rock, Bowden admits it's "sad" not to see her co-stars, but she is ready to take on the next chapter of her career.
"The show was such a huge part of my life," she said. "I started when I was 17, and 30 Rock opened so many doors for me that I wouldn't have had otherwise. It was a wonderful part of my life. It is sad not to have it there anymore, but it is exciting to start new projects and a new chapter in my life."
Bowden teases that she has a lot of "exciting roles and TV guest spots" coming in the fall that she isn't at liberty to talk about just yet. "I can't wait. I'm excited. I wish I could tell you more," she said.
According to IMDB, she is slated for a role in The Last Film Festival, alongside Dennis Hopper and funnyman Chris Kattan.
