Amber Portwood Praises Andrew Glennon Amid Abuse Rumors With Matt Baier
Amber Portwood's relationship with Matt Baier was extremely unhealthy for years, but these days, their controversial romance is a thing of the past.
As Teen Mom OG fans well know, Portwood gave Baier the boot last year after he failed a lie detector test about his potential cheating and has been dating Andrew Glennon ever since. Needless to say, she's been much happier in her relationship with her new man.
Following the release of a shocking Marriage Boot Camp trailer in which she accused Baier of being physically abusive toward her, Portwood took to Twitter to gush over her new boyfriend, whose she's expecting a child with in May.
“No matter how crazy I get I still love my man,” Portwood tweeted, according to a report by The Ashley's Reality Roundup on Feb. 16. “I don’t scream at Andrew lol…we’re so happy together.”
In the trailer, Portwood asks Baier why she's so mad and then reminds him that he allegedly "hit" her.
“[Andrew] doesn’t hit me or cheat on me so yeah I treat him like a real man,” Portwood continued to her fans and followers. “If you are a liar and cheater yeah bless your soul lol and get out of my way."
Portwood went on to say that she is quite happy that she is now dating a good man who supports her with no drama and no yelling. She then said that she doesn't enjoy liars and cheaters and refused to apologize for behaving erratically as a result of Baier's past behavior.
"I’m very happy with myself; however I found a man that is my rock,” she added.
Portwood and Glennon have been dating since August of last year and learned they were expecting a baby together the following month. The child, who will be the second for Portwood, has since been confirmed as a boy.
Portwood is currently a mom to one daughter, Leah, whom she shares with her former boyfriend Gary Shirley. Meanwhile, Glennon does not yet have any children of his own.
Amber Portwood can be seen in Teen Mom OG season 7 alongside Andrew Glennon on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on MTV and will be featured on WEtv's Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition next month.
