Kanye West Kris Jenner Feud? Mocks Kim Kardashian's Mom About 'Yeezus' Album; [LISTEN]
Lovers and new parents Kanye West and Kim Kardashian haven't decided to tie the knot just yet, but the rapper is already clashing with Kris Jenner, detailed in a new exclusive interview with W Magazine.
In the new interview with W conducted before the birth of Kim and Kanye's baby girl North West, an awkward moment between the Yeezus rapper and Kris Jenner is documented by writer, Christopher Bagley.
In the lengthy piece, Bagley takes a trip to Kanye's Paris apartment where Kim's brother, Rob Kardashian, along with his girlfriend, model Naza Jafarian are laid out on the rapper's spacey Living Divani coach. Jenner drops by to check out the place for the first time.
"This is amazing," Jenner said to Kanye about the highly decorated apartment.
The rapper then plays an unfinished track, "Awesome," off his recent Yeezus album, which is about Kim.
Some of the lyrics include:
"Why did you ever listen to/ People trying to hate on you/ At least you know that's nothing new/ Stop everything you're doing now/ Cause baby, you're awesome/ So awesome"
After Kanye plays the record, Jenner to much excitement, responds: "Great job."
According to Bagley, Kanye didn't find Jenner's comment amusing and then says to the reality mom: "Great job?"
"Great job, Baccarat, for making a glass that can hold liquid!" he adds. "Great job, belt loops, for keeping my pants up."
Laughing off the mockery, Jenner gets ready to leave, then hugs Kanye saying, "I love you. You know where to find us, at the [hotel] George V. Call us tomorrow, if you want."
Bagley takes note of the awkward moment, noting, "It seems apparent to everyone, including Jenner, that West will not call."
The rumored tension between Jenner and West fueled after sources said she was mad at the rapper for neglecting Kim when she got sick back in March.
Enstars reported earlier that at the time the then-four-months-old Kim floew to Paris on Sunday to join West at a Givenchy show and attended dinner after, including guests such as Frank Ocean and Ciara.
Kim took a flight back to Los Angeles when she reportedly started feeling sick.
Sources said that Jenner was upset at Kanye for choosing his career over his girlfriend and his then-unborn child.
"Kris is livid with Kanye for not flying out to LA to be with Kim. She thinks he should have been on the next flight out to support Kim and that he is putting his career above her," the source said at the time.
