‘Ain’t Nothin Like Girlfriends’: Chrissy Teigen Gets Surprise Baby Shower From Friends
Mother-to-be Chrissy Teigen's close friends threw her a surprise bash to celebrate the expected birth of her little bundle of joy.
The Sports Illustrated model, who is expecting her second child with husband and singer John Legend, was treated to a surprise baby shower by her besties in New York City on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Teigen, 32, and Legend, 39 are expected to become proud parents of a baby boy in June.
A Surprise Baby Shower Treat From Friends
The supermodel then took to social media on Wednesday, Feb. 21, to share a video clip from the unexpected shindig.
"These are my best girlfriends on the planet. I have a surprise baby shower," she says in the clip, which is a selfie video of Teigen with four of her close friends.
"Man. Ain't nothin like girlfriends. Love you guys so much. Thank you for loving me back," she captioned the post along with the hashtag #twobabyclub in the comments section on Instagram.

The Lip Sync Battle star also received several nice gifts from her pals and among the goodies include a Hatch Mama gift box, Andrea Beaty's children's book Iggy Peck Architect, and a Polaroid OneStep 2 Instant Film Camera.
In 2016, when Teigen was pregnant with her first child, Luna, BFF Kim Kardashian threw her a lavish baby shower at the reality star's residence. The party was attended by famous celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Mink Kelly, and Erin Andrews.
Chrissy Teigen And John Legend's Struggle With Baby Names
On Monday, Feb 19, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Teigen revealed to Ellen that she and Legend are really having a hard time coming up with a name for their unborn son.
"Boy names are really tough and I don't think he will even have a middle name because we can't even come up with a first name," Teigen explained," she told DeGeneres.
The soon-to-be mother recently showed off her growing baby bump as she and the "All of Me" singer took daughter Luna out for a stroll in the park. While Teigen went with an all-black crop top, leggings, and a jacket, Legend donned a simple black tee, jeans, and a jacket.
