'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 4 Cast, New Women Already Fighting & Picking Sides?
A source recently revealed that among the two new cast members on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, one has already made enemies and friends on the show.
Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud will be joining the show as series regulars, E! News reported on June 21. Sources close to production said that Giraud, a two-time Miss Puerto Rico winner, already befriended Kyle and Kim Richards and made enemies with Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump.
"Joyce is definitely Team Kyle," one source said. "But she gets on the nerves of nearly everyone else. She's very 'me, me, me.' She makes every situation about her. It's insensitive and exhausting."
Giraud, 38, was the second runner up in the 1998 Miss Universe pageant but had an acting career as well, with roles on Baywatch and The Bold & the Beautiful. She had guest roles on TV shows - like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Joey and Heist - and a recurring role on the Tyler Perry-helmed sitcom House of Payne. She is married to movie producer Michael Ohoven and they two children together: Leonardo and Valentino.
As for Gebbia, a former TV actress, sources said she has yet to take sides among the women. However, Vanderpump is reportedly anxious to pull her to become her friend in the on-going strain in her relationship with Kyle.
A second source revealed that Taylor Armstrong may not be returning to the series in a full-time role, saying she has been filming scenes for the show "but barely."
"And she's no longer on salary. Her current deal is pay-for-play," the source added. "She only gets paid for the days that she shoots. As of now, that hasn't been a lot."
Bravo has not commented on the casting.
