Kim Kardashian Posts First Selfie With Daughter Chicago West On Instagram
Chicago West finally makes her Instagram debut, fittingly with her mom, Kim Kardashian, and aptly with an adorable pink teddy bear filter.
The photo was shared by Kardashian to her more than 108 million followers on Monday, and just after three hours, it had amassed almost 4 million likes. It was unclear when the photo was taken since the 37-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star in the photo still sported blonde locks, but she recently announced that she went from being a blonde to a pink-head.
"Baby Chicago," captioned Kardashian, a short and meaningful phrase to sum up the photo.
Indeed, no words are needed for the proud mother of three. Kardashian shares two more children with rapper Kanye West, namely North West, 4, and Saint West, 2.
Recently, Kardashian had been gushing over Chicago, who came to the family in January via a surrogate mother, and had been overwhelmed with her new bundle of joy. She took to Twitter to respond to a fan who asked how the baby, whom Kardashian calls Chi, was doing.
"The sweetest! Best baby!" Kardashian replied.
She went on to describe Chicago, probably giving fans a hint on how the baby looks like. Kardashian revealed that the infant had gotten some features from both Saint and North, though she clarified that Chicago is "definitely her own person!"
First Look
It can be remembered that the world first had a glimpse of Chicago when she made a brief cameo in the video of Kylie Jenner announcing her daughter, Stormi Webster, but recently, Kardashian had been trickling some details about her youngest child.
It seemed that it would be all class and timeless elegance for Chicago. Kardashian shared in her app that her baby's nursery room would include expensive pieces in neutral colors. The room would also be filled with hand-me-downs from North and Saint.
"I wanted to keep all the décor in neutral colors," she announced and added that she fancied the combination of the new and the old.
Kardashian's Pink Hair
One of the posh items in the nursery room include a Jenny Walker bassinet, which sells for $1,900, a Monte's Como Glider for $1,495, and a Maison Deux's Cloud Rocker for $575. While Kardashian has opted for neutral colors for her baby, she is opting for baby pink for her hair. Recently, she took to Twitter to debut her long pink locks.
"Hey guys! Do you like my new pink hair?" she asked her fans. Days prior to this, she said that she was "over" her blonde hair.
