Kate Middleton Baby Bump Maintained Healthy Pregnancy, Despite Love for Starbucks Coffee
Kate Middleton's baby bump endured a great pregnancy due to her healthy regimen.
Since the Duchess of Cambridge announced she and Prince William, 31, was expecting their first child in December, before spending time in the hospital due to a rare form of morning sickness, the 31-year-old has taken every precaution to ensure a healthy pregnancy and lifestyle.
Sources claimed that since Middleton's stay in the hospital, she has cut down her strenuous workout plan for a more low impact exercise.
"She had a yoga instructor visit her at Kensington Palace once a week," a source told Us Weekly.
Regarding her diet, the source said that Middleton has never been an "unhealthy eater," but made some adjustments to her eating habits that included cutting out junk food, eating more dried fruits and nuts and sticking to cod and chicken for meals.
Although the Duchess has maintained a healthier regimen, sources said she loves Starbucks coffee so much, that she switched to de-caf.
"[Kate] did not like the idea of not drinking coffee" the source said.
Middleton, who is currently on maternity leave from royal duties due to the baby's scheduled birth in July, hasn't been seen since the Trooping of The Colour ceremony earlier this month.
While details of Middleton's birth was released last week, royal fans discovered that she nor Prince William have yet to find out the baby's gender, despite early reports.
The unknown sex of the baby has not stopped booking firms in the UK from prediciting if she is having a boy or girl.
According to Coral Bookmakers, the top picks for the baby's sex is a girl.
"In terms of novelty betting right now, people in the UK have just gone royal baby mad and they are placing wagers on literally everything from gender of the baby...to who is going to hold the child when they leave the hospital, whether it's going to be Will or Kate," a source said.
