'24' Movie Needs More Time: Filming Pushed Back to 2013
A dispute over the budget and acting fees has pushed start of filming for the '24' movie back until 2013, according to a report.
"It didn't work out right now. Everyone is trying to figure out how to do it next year," an individual close to the Twentieth Century Fox project said, according to TheWrap.
A new writer will rework the script, according to the report.
Fox has made no announcement about the reported shift in schedule.
According TheWrap, earlier this month, the project's star and producer, Kiefer Sutherland was offered $2 million while he was seeking $5 million.
A Fox spokesman confirmed at the time that the movie was on hold.
The budget for the film is also a contentious issue. The studio wanted a $30 million cap, while Sutherland and producer Brian Grazer wanted a budget in the low $20 million range
