Kristen Stewart Reunites With Mackenzie Foy And 'Twilight' Fans Are Freaking Out!
Nearly five years has passed since the worldwide phenomenon, the Twilight saga, took over movie theaters and teens everywhere. Fans are still obsessed with the cast that portrayed the iconic characters of the acclaimed book series turned film series.
Kristen Stewart, the film's leading lady, recently reunited with her on-screen daughter, Mackenzie Foy, and fans can't help but speculate if there will be a revival in the works.
Mother And Daughter Reunion
Foy and Stewart bumped into each other at a pre-Oscars event hosted by Chanel. The former co-stars posed together in a cozy photo and also had a conversation.
The two Twilight stars have not been seen together since 2012, which was when the last film in the franchise, Breaking Dawn Part 2, was released. Stewart portrayed the clumsy yet beautiful Isabella 'Bella' Swan, who fell in love with the handsome vampire, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).
The series followed Bella and Edward's tumultuous but passionate relationship that was plagued with werewolves, evil vampires, nosy humans, and unexpected pregnancy.
Foy played, Bella and Edward's half-hybrid daughter, Renesmee Cullen, who ends up being romantically tied to Bella's best friend, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).
Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, Anna Kendrick, Dakota Fanning, and Michael Sheen also starred in the series.
Life After 'Twilight'
Both Foy and Stewart have since moved on and had substantial careers in Hollywood.
Stewart has starred in a wide range of critically-acclaimed films such as The Runaways, Snow White and The Huntsman, Cloud of Sils Maria, On The Road, and Certain Women.
Recently, Stewart has expressed her interest in joining Elizabeth Bank's rumored Charlie's Angels reboot.
"I would love to do it. I hope that that comes together. You never really know that you're going to be making a movie until you're, like, standing on that set," the actress stated.
The Panic Room actress was also the subject of media scrutiny for her on-and-off again relationship with Pattinson. The former couple never publicly acknowledged their relationship until it was reported that Stewart cheated on Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders.
Foy has gone on to star in the films The Conjuring, Wish You Well, Interstellar, and The Little Prince. The young actress will also be starring in the upcoming Disney film, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, as Clara.
