'Game of Thrones' Season 3 Premiere: What Lies Ahead For Alliser Thorne In Upcoming Installment? VIDEO
Actor Owen Teale has confirmed that he'll be returning for Season 4 of Game of Thrones to reprise his role as Alliser Thorne.
Teale had officially announced the news when he recently spoke to Wales Online. He also took the opportunity to gloat a bit about his fascination with the complex character.
"He's a ruthless sergeant major-type character. He's a twisted character who's been very damaged in the past. He's great to play and there's some fantastic dialogue," he said.
Thorne had been at the receiving end of an assault by Jon due to taunting him with the news of Ned Stark's arrest. He was then sent to King's Landing by Lord Commander Mormont in order to receive assistance for the Watch, and hasn't popped up since then.
In other recent GoT happenings, Wet Paint reported that the dynamic between the characters of Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headley) may be changing, while "the general outline of Jaime and Cersei's relationship will probably stay the same."
In the GoT novels, Jaime and Cersei resume their sexual relationship after the Purple Wedding. The latter attempts to convince the former to murder Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) because she thinks that he is the one that killed Joffrey. However, Jaime wants to know more about the situation.
Although no official airdate has yet to be announced, HBO's Game of Thrones is set to premiere its fourth season at some point in late March or the early April. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details.
