Brandi Glanville's representative recently addressed the STD comments made against the Housewives of Beverly Hills star, saying the radio host that made the claims needs to learn how to respect a woman.

John Kerwin went on a date with Glanville in December of 2012 and details of their night together were revealed by a source who spoke to Radar Online, cited in a June 20 report. The insider said the two went out for drinks one night and when they went back to her house, Glanville wanted to sleep with him. He denied her advances because "he isn't the type of guy to have a one night stand," the source added.

Shortly after, Kerwin reportedly read Glanville's memoir and learned that she got HPV from her ex-husband. The source said the radio host in the end felt like he "dodged a bullet" by not sleeping with Glanville. Kerwin then said he thought it "was whacked" that Glanville did not tell him about the sexually transmitted disease.

After news of their reported date night surfaced, rep Steve Honig made a defensive comment on Glanville's behalf.

"It's unfortunate John Kerwin's parents never taught him how to act like a gentleman," Honig said, according to New York Daily News. "Perhaps when he learns how to show respect toward other people he will be more successful, both personally and professionally."

The late night talk show host has not stayed silent, firing back to Honig's statement.

"Brandi has HPV and didn't tell me," he said in his own statement. "Luckily, I stopped after she performed oral sex. If you study Brandi's history, it becomes clear that she's far from a lady."

Glanville called out Kerwin via Twitter on June 24, writing, "Let's all block and not respond to the pyscho [sic] guy I went on one date with a year and a half ago. BLOCK & don't MENTION on my Timeline thanks."

As she writes her second book about relationships, Kerwin suggested Glanville title the book "My Life As An Open Sore."
