Kendall Jenner Finally Acknowledges Those 'Lesbian' Rumors, But Doesn't Confirm Her Relationship With Blake Griffin
Kendall Jenner is taking a stand and denouncing those silly rumors that she's into girls. The model who has been romantically linked with Detroit Pistons NBA player, Blake Griffin, is notoriously known to keep mum on her personal life, but now she's opening up a bit more about who she could possibly be dating and where those rumors came from.
Jenner spoke to Vogue for their April 2018 issue where she addressed the assumptions that she was romantically involved with her long-time gal pal, Bella Hadid. The 22-year-old thinks that the rumors came about due to the fact that she was not as forthcoming with her love life as her sisters are.
"I think it's because I'm not like all my other sisters, who are like, 'Here's me and my boyfriend!' So it was a thing for a minute because no one ever saw me with a guy. I would always go that extra mile to be low-key with guys, sneaking around all the time. You don't want to, like, look crazy," Jenner stated.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also thinks that because she has "tough" energy, many believe she is involved with women but the model claims that she just "moves differently." Jenner elaborated that though she wouldn't be opposed to "experimenting," she doesn't have a "bisexual" bone in her body.
"But to answer your question: I'm not gay. I have literally nothing to hide, I would never hide something like that," she continued.
As for her love life? The reality star did hint that she is seeing someone but wouldn't say who.
"I'm happy. He's very nice. I have someone being very nice to me," she replied.
Jenner is the second youngest of her siblings. The reality star began her modeling career at the age of 14 after being signed to Wilhelmina Models. Since then, Jenner has appeared in Vogue Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, LOVE, and Vanity Fair.
Jenner has also walked the runway for designers Chanel, Alexander Wang, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and Marc Jacobs.
She has been open in the past about her struggles with anxiety that becomes worse during fashion week. In April 2017, the model received widespread backlash for starring in a commercial for Pepsi called "Live for Now." This ad was slammed for borrowing imagery from the "Black Lives Matter" movement.
Pepsi pulled the ad within a day, and apologized to Jenner for "putting [her] in this position." Jenner was reportedly "devastated" by the ad.
