'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 5, SPOILERS: Joe Gorga Realizes Wife Melissa Gorga 'Plays Innocent'
Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey witnessed Joe Gorga defend his wife, Melissa Gorga, from his sister Teresa Giudice for the past 2 seasons, but an insider revealed, in an upcoming episode, that Joe will realize that Melissa is not as innocent as he thought.
A source told Reality Tea that in Episode 5, which will air on June 30, viewers will see Joe's "shock over a comment Melissa tweeted."
"Melissa plays innocent," said the source, adding that Joe will discover that she posts negative tweets about Teresa and then claims to be the victim of attacks from Teresa.
Joe will be shocked, added the insider because "he doesn't know the half of what she does."
The source revealed that with the upcoming release of Melissa's new book, Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Sexy Marriage, the couple have maintained a "united front" for publicity reasons.
"The book is coming out, maybe they will even win an Oscar for this acting," the insider joked.
The insider also reveales that Joe is boethered by his parents' dissparoval of his wife, yet they have taken a strong liking to his brother-in-law Joe Giudice.
"It kills Joe that his parents love Joe Giudice and not his wife," said the source. "Joe Giudice may be a lot of things, but he is a wonderful son-in-law. He treats Teresa's parents like his own. He drops everything for them. That's what is comes down to in this old-school Italian family. Melissa doesn't do that."
In Episode 4, Joe told his sister Teresa that it's her fault that he has issues with their parents.
"Joe Gorga blames Teresa for everything," the source said. "It is not Teresa's fault that his parents don't like the girl he married. That frustrates Joe more than anything. He wants his family to love and embrace Melissa the way they love Joe Giudice."
During Sunday's show, Joe told Teresa, "I am 38 years old, I cry at night because of the situation with my parents...because of you"
The heated excahnge ends with Teresa throwing a bottle of water on Joe.
