Farrah Abraham Calls Out Maci Bookout For 'Pornographic' New Show
Farrah Abraham left her full-time role on Teen Mom OG earlier this week. However, she hasn't moved on from her drama with her co-stars.
In a new interview on the "Teen Mom Time" podcast, Abraham addressed the recent news of Maci Bookout's upcoming role on the Discovery Channel series Naked and Afraid. She claimed that the show is just as “pornographic” as her adult films.
“If you’re saying I do pornographic things, then I think that’s really pornographic,” Abraham said during the interview as reported by Hollywood Life on March 16. “Was I on a celebrity sex tape? Yeah. Things happen… You have to role with the punches.”
During their time together on Teen Mom OG, Bookout announced she was leaving the show after her producers informed her that Abraham would be coming back to the series following the release of two sex tapes.
Then, after choosing to return to the show, Bookout said she wouldn't be allowing her son, 9-year-old Bentley, to appear on the series. She explained that she didn't want him to deal with the backlash that he may face because he's on a show with a sex tape star.
Since her return to Teen Mom OG, Abraham has been at odds with the majority of her co-stars but she seemed uninterested in changing that. In fact, she's been known to diss the entire cast, including Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell, on Twitter and believes they are all jealous of her success.
“To hate or be jealous… I think that’s narrow-minded," Abraham explained. "I get Maci’s point of view, but the realization is you’re on Naked and Afraid now. At least I’m not naked and afraid!”
Earlier this month, Bookout, Lowell, and the majority of their co-stars reunited in New York City to film the season 7 reunion for their MTV reality show. Meanwhile, Abraham was left out of the taping after producer Morgan J. Freeman let her out of the contract. Freeman didn't want to continue filming with her due to her involvement in the world of adult entertainment.
News of Abraham's exit from the show first hit the web at the end of last year.
Teen Mom OG season 7 currently airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on MTV.
