Wendy Williams Show: Host Is Back, Slams Tamar Braxton For Shaving Head 'For Attention'
Wendy Williams made her return to her daytime talk show this week after a health scare. The host didn’t waste time in blasting celebrities during one of her first days back and came for singer and reality star Tamar Braxton.

Williams and Braxton are typically friendly toward one another when Braxton comes to the show. Still, in true Williams fashion, she shared her thoughts on Braxton, even though they weren’t so friendly.
Williams spoke on Braxton shaving her head last week during her Hot Topics segment. While many fans speculated that Braxton could be having an emotional moment considering she filed for divorce last year, Williams said Braxton had a different reason.
“Tamar wants attention,” said Williams. “No, in my mind, Tamar is a classic case of someone who will do anything for attention, anything for attention.”
She went on to blast Braxton because she has been MIA while the family supports their upcoming new season of WeTV’s Braxton Family Values. Even though reports say Braxton is upset with her family for coming for her husband, Vincent Herbert, Williams said it’s just another way for Braxton to get attention.
“She suffers from all the girls in the family and she has the youngest [child] syndrome,” said Williams.
She added that she and Braxton go way back to the days Williams was a radio host. She said she interviewed Braxton’s sister, Toni Braxton, but Braxton caught her attention as she was dancing, or as Williams described it, “popping and locking.” She said she motioned for Tamar to move over.

Braxton isn’t the only celebrity Williams blasted on her show this week. She had lots to say about Aubrey O’Day after news hit that O’Day allegedly had an affair with Donald Trump, Jr. The two reportedly met on her days as a contestant on NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice.
Interestingly enough, Williams might have asked O’Day about the wrong brother. She questioned in her interest in Eric Trump, who Williams said O’Day flirted with on The Celebrity Apprentice. O’Day told Williams there was no way she would date Eric because he was corny and she preferred guys with swag. She said Eric would probably go on to marry a woman with blonde hair, which Williams pointed out that he did.
O’Day has yet to respond to Williams’ comments.
