Justin Bieber's Night Out With Baskin Champion Was Reportedly An Attempt To Make Selena Gomez Jealous
Justin Bieber going out with 22-year-old model Baskin Champion for the concert of Bieber's good friend, Craig David, could be just a plot to make Selena Gomez jealous.
Are Bieber And Baskin An Item?
The incident shocked fans as he is presumed to be on a "break" with Gomez.
According to Cosmopolitan, the whole thing was a petty attempt to basically get back at the "Wolves" singer and get her in feelings.
"Justin knows everything he's doing is to going to get, and his time with Baskin was to prove a point," a source explained.
The source added that since Gomez is out in Australia living it up, Bieber wanted to show her that he can do the same.
For those that were worried that the "What Do You Mean" singer has moved on from Gomez, there's no need to fret as he and Champion are just friends. An insider claims that the two have been buddies for some time now and it's nothing more than that. They know each other through mutual friends and their concert date was strictly platonic.
Baskin is Abby Champion's sister, who is allegedly dating Bieber's friend, Patrick Schwarzenegger. So it makes sense that the two would know each other.
Selena Heads Back To Los Angeles
Following Bieber's night out with Champion, a new report revealed that Gomez was heading back to Los Angeles to clarify what is going on between the two. The "Good For You" singer has reportedly been in Sydney, Australia for a few days to supposedly to clear her head.
On Monday, March 19, paparazzi spotted Gomez with her girlfriends in tow and she seemed to be enjoying herself and looked carefree. She even sported a bikini that showed off her kidney transplant scar.
Though Gomez appeared to be having a great time while on a yacht, Hollywood Life states that the singer was hurt when she found out about Bieber's actions.
"Selena is hurt and disappointed after seeing Justin with another woman, and she felt the need to run home immediately. Things are definitely not done between Justin and Selena," a source close to the Billboard Music winner stated.
