One Direction stopped in Boston on Wednesday as part of their Take Me Home world tour and Harry Styles revealed the fun they had even before taking to the stage to perform.

The 19-year-old posted a photo on Instagram showing his topless standing in a lake with his back to the camera. He captioned the picture, "Went swimming yesterday before the show in Boston. In a lake, in Boston." The group's sound engineer David Martell also got in on the fun, sharing a photo on Twitter of him swimming with Styles. He captioned the shot, "So now the secret is out, me and @Harry_Styles went for a swim in the lake before yesterday's show in Boston. :-)"

After the swim, One Direction performed at the Comcast Center and tried out in front of the audience their best Boston accents.

"It is an absolute pleasure to be here in BAWSTON," Styles told the crowd, shown in the video below.

One Direction is traveling the U.S. as part of their Take Me Home tour. On Friday and Saturday they perform in the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in New York, followed by a July 2 performance at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J.. They continue to tour in the U.S. until Aug. 10, holding their last concert in Los Angeles' Staples Center. Their latest album is also titled Take Me Home.
