Alec Baldwin's Wife Hilaria Reveals That The Actor Is 'Old School' About Parenting Duties
Alec Baldwin has an "old school" mindset when it comes to parenting duties, his wife, Hilaria, reveals, and it has something to do with their age.
In an interview, Hilaria detailed how their parenting dynamics work and how she and the actor try to keep things interesting. The fitness guru went on to narrate that she sometimes gets into taking care of the kids so much.
On parenting duties, Hilaria admitted that Baldwin is the old school type, leaving the caring for the children to the mother. She and the actor are expecting their fourth child, a boy, to arrive this summer.
"You're the mom, you take care of the kids,' and then I will come and go and I will read a book with them every once in a while' kind of thing," Hilaria shared.
Age Gap
Hilaria then cited their 26-year age gap as one of the factors in understanding each other and their strategies in raising their children. The yogi is 34 while Baldwin is 59, turning 60 on April 3.
Baldwin and Hilaria have also worked out the kinks, including having a date night sometimes, even if it means the three children, Carmen, 4, Rafael, 2, and Leonardo, 1, are tagging along at times However, it's not always the typical date night everyone has on their mind.
"Most nights, we have date night, which could mean we're doing a puzzle. On Valentine's Day, we ordered takeout," Hilaria revealed.
Social Media Cuteness
Of her dedication to her children, Hilaria is occasionally sharing things about her children on Instagram. Baldwin and their kids actually have a fair chunk of space on her social media accounts.
On March 9, she posted a photo of the It's Complicated actor and Carmen, revealing that Baldwin was then able to inch family time during shooting breaks. Also present at Hilaria's feed are clips of her doing yoga.
It clearly showed just how active Hilaria is, even doing light stretches, and some complicated ones, with a baby bump. Baldwin's social media accounts are not amiss of his kids and muse as well.
The Saturday Night Live impersonator casually uploads photos of his little ones on his Instagram. Baldwin and Hilaria tied the knot in 2012.
Baldwin was married to actress Kim Basinger, who he met on the set of the 1991 film The Marrying Man, from 1993 to 2002. They have a daughter, Ireland, 22, who has since made her name in the world of modelling, pretty much how her cousin, Hailey, rose to stardom.
