Venus Angelic: 15-Year Old Looks Like Living Doll
Venus Palermo, known by her web moniker Venus Angelic, has become a popular contributor on YouTube by dressing up and wearing makeup that makes her look like a doll.
According to YouTube statistics, she has over 6.1 million video views.
The London-based 15-year old, who has been doing this for the past two years, told website Right This Minute recently that some people online had asked her how she did her makeup and she decided to post a tutorial. An interviewer on the site said Palermo looked like a Japanese animation character.
One distinctive feature about her videos is her accent. She was asked if it was real.
“Of course it’s my real voice. I think because I speak five languages all those accents mix together,” she said.
When asked what her parents thought about it, she said her mother likes that Venus wears “cute and frilly” clothes.
Palermo has no plans on stopping soon.
“I don’t think that I will stop. I think that I will grow in my style and just keep on doing what I love,” she said.
