Ahead of the airing of Episode 6, ABC has released a video of a deleted scene from Episode 5 of The Bachelorette, where Harstock is on a one-on-one date with Zak Waddell. Waddell impressed viewers when he gave Hartsock an antique journal to document her journey in the second episode.

In the deleted clip, which was not included in the episode that aired on June 24, Waddell says he has a lot of feelings invested in Hartsock and wanted to see if his feelings can be reciprocated.

The nervous drilling engineer from Texas said he felt pressured to pull out all the stops to help set him apart from the other suitors.

"I really don't feel like I'm going to make it another week unless I can do something with her and trade some kind of moment where she wants to keep me around and remember me."

Waddell boldly brings a knife and a grapefruit to their one-on-one and wrote a silly note on it.

"Thanks for yesterday, let's keep smiling!" Waddell wrote on the fruit.

Hartsock was so impressed that she tells him that she wants to get to know him more. During a brief moment of silence, they stare into each other's eyes and he leans in for a kiss and they kiss meomentarily. In his confessional, Waddell said kissing Hartsock was "perfect."

"It was big....I finally, finally, finally kissed Desiree," Waddell confessed. "I feel like gushy inside. I feel like a little kid on Christmas."

Episode 6 of Season 12 of The Bachelorette will premiere on Monday, July 1. In the upcoming show, Hartsock and her remaining suitors remain in Europe and head to Barcelona after a trip to the snow-capped mountains of Munich for Episode 5. In the preview video, Hartsock cannot contain her excitement about being in the capital of Spain.

"It's Barcelona, it's the perfect place to fall in love," she says.
