Kate Hudson has just revealed that she is expecting her third child! The actress took to Instagram on Friday, April 6, to announce the special news and also shared that she will be having a girl.

This will be the actress' first daughter as Hudson is already a mom to two sons, Ryder and Bingham. The father of her baby girl is her current boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa. In the post, the actress acknowledged that she had been "absent" from her social media pages and that the couple had been trying to keep the pregnancy a secret for as long as possible.

The actress did a gender reveal with three huge black balloons, two of the balloons were held by her sons, that when popped produced pink confetti much to the delight of Hudson and her guests.

Hudson, who is the daughter of silver screen veteran Goldie Hawn, was married to Chris Robinson from 2000 to 2007. Robinson is the father of her son Ryder. The actress also had a relationship with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy from 2010 to 2014. Bellamy, who is the father of her son Bingham, proposed to the actress in 2011, however the couple called off the engagement.

Though her biological father is director Bill Hudson, the You, Me, and Dupree actress has acknowledged actor Kurt Russell, who's been in a relationship with her mother since the '80s, as her true father due to her strained relationship with Hudson.

The actress gave her eldest son Russell's last name as his middle name.
