Justin Bieber Twists Ankle Playing Soccer With Friends
Singer Justin Bieber sustained a minor injury while playing soccer in Los Angeles, putting an end to his fun on the pitch on Saturday afternoon.
Fun In The Sun
Bieber has been trying out different sports over the past few weeks, perhaps in an effort to heal from his latest split from on-again-off-again girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
This latest foray saw him indulging in a friendly game of football with his buddies in Playa Vista, California. Although the 24-year-old "Love Yourself" hit-maker was happily running about in the beginning, things took a painful turn when he twisted his ankle mid-match.
Bieber seems to have taken a spill as he was going to kick a goal. He was seen sitting out with a friend after the incident occurred, clutching his ankle in pain. He was also pictured holding it as he fell to the grass.
However, following a lengthy timeout, the young star was seen smiling and laughing once again from the sidelines. It's a shame that Bieber's time on the pitch was cut short, as he seemed to be making a decent go of it prior to sustaining the injury.
No Pain, No Gain
While playing in the sun, Bieber also gave fans a quick glimpse at his latest tattoos, which reportedly took over 100 agonizing hours to complete.
"If tattooed didn't hurt everyone would have them. Well maybe not very one!! Over a hundred hours of hart work on my body and I wouldn't take back a single one.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ART AND IVE MAde my body a canvas and it's SO MUCH FUN," he posted on Instagram.
Bieber tied up his long blonde hair for the football game with a stylish red bandana.
Ever the fashionista, he was later photographed with a fan outside a SoulCycle class in an entirely different outfit. The fan reportedly requested a photo with the singer following his workout in Beverly Hills.
Bieber flashed a peace sign for the pic. He was wearing a black tee, red shorts by UNKNWN x Eric Emanuel, black and white striped slides, colorful socks, and a white towel slung over his shoulder.
Love's Young Dream
Fans of the "Sorry" singer will be happy to see him smiling again, even if he did sustain an injury in the process.
Lately, Bieber has been struggling with his relationship with Gomez, after the two rekindled their long-dormant romance late last year.
The couple attended Bieber's father's wedding in Jamaica and were spotted on several church dates, as well as a romantic Valentine's Day trip to Laguna Beach.
However, things soon fell apart, with Gomez's disapproving mother reportedly the cause of many of their issues.
He was most recently spotted out and about with an unidentified brunette who bore more than a passing resemblance to Gomez.
