Jenna Dewan Breaks Her Silence On Social Media After Split From Channing Tatum, Thanks Fans For Their Support
Jenna Dewan took to Instagram to personally break her silence on her separation from husband Channing Tatum. The actors announced their split earlier this April.
Jenna Dewan Thanks Fans
Dewan kept her message for her fans and followers short and simple Thursday, April 12. She uploaded a picture of her on a beach, wearing an all-white two-piece outfit. The barefoot actress and dancer expressed in the caption her gratitude for her fans’ support.
Dewan and Tatum have yet to confirm why they have decided to go their separate ways. While rumors swirled that it was because of Tatum’s issues with alcohol or his inability to balance his successful acting career and family, they have not given specifics on their split. In the initial announcement the now exes made on Instagram, they made it clear that there were no scandalous activities or infidelity that caused the split. They insisted that they just needed time apart.
“We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together,” read the statement. “Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful venture that is taking us on different paths for now.”
Their Split Is Definitely Amicable
In what is arguably the most peaceful split in Hollywood this year, a representative for Channing also confirmed that the stories and speculations about what caused their split are completely false. They maintained that the joint statement Tatum and Dewan released was the truth.
As for Tatum, he has still remained silent on social media since revealing the breakup. While fans were shocked by the news, reports revealed that there might have been signs of trouble for the couple that the public missed.
Signs Of Marital Woes
For starters, Dewan walked the red carpet at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars after-party solo in March. Reporters asked Dewan where Tatum was, and she notified everyone he was enjoying downtime with their daughter, Everly, 4. She said he was ecstatic to “have a night off.”
Interestingly enough, she was also seen eating out with friends just days after the Oscars after-party. However, Tatum wasn’t at the restaurant that night. Tatum also opted out of attending the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Los Angeles with Dewan and Everly. Still, things seemed to be going well when the two were seen at the Kids’ Choice Awards later that month.
Dewan and Tatum married in 2009. They started dating after they met on the set up of Step Up in 2006.
