'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 10: Cast Recaps Part 1 Reunion Drama - 'The Door Is Closed And Locked'
The ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta shared their thoughts on the explosive reunion. The first part of the special aired on Bravo Sunday, April 8.
Nene Locks The Door
They all had lots to say about the drama that went down in the episode. From Kenya Moore’s announcement that she and her husband Marc Daly are expecting, to the cast calling out Sheree Whitfleld, to NeNe Leakes’ beef with Kim Zolciak Biermann, and everything in between.
Leakes shut down any chance of her, Zolciak, and Whitfield becoming friends again. The trio, which is composed of original cast members, reunited on the show for the first time on Season 4. Things went left when it was clear Whitfield, who reportedly got fired after this season, had an alliance with Zolciak. Leakes said that she was hurt because she welcomed Zolciak and Whitfield back to the show with open arms but didn’t get the same love after Whitfield sided with Zolciak when the latter shared videos of bugs in Leakes’ house.
“So in this case, as far as Sheree and Kim are concerned, the door is CLOSED and LOCKED.”
Then Comes Baby...
Moore opened up about her pregnancy and said she’s ecstatic about the new addition to her family. She hinted that fans and viewers will get to see details of her journey sooner than later. Despite being pregnant, Moore had her own drama during the reunion with Marlo Hampton. She pretended not to know who she was in the blog.
As for whether Daly will be on the show, she said he’s warmed up to the idea as he’s gotten to know some of her co-stars who are also her friends outside of the show.
Interestingly enough, one of those friends was Cynthia Bailey. When Moore was put in the hot seat for not inviting Bailey to her secret wedding, Moore said Bailey couldn’t keep a secret. Bailey took to the blog to say that’s absolutely not true.
“Believe me, I can hold water,” said Bailey. “I can hold an ocean if my friend asks me to!”
She said she and Moore get advice from one another all the time. She indicated she’s no longer hurt that Moore didn’t invite her and only wishes her good friend happiness and love.
Is Kandi Really Over It?
Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss made it clear she’s over her drama with Porsha Williams after it ended up being much of her storyline this season. Burruss was livid after Williams repeated a rumor that Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, wanted to sexually assault Williams.
Burruss also said she was surprised Whitfield threw shade at her after Whitfeld’s clothing line, She By Sheree, became a topic of conversation.
“I have no idea what her problem was,” said Burruss. “It felt like she was ready for war and was ready to give it to whoever said a word to her. I didn’t feel like I said anything worth being snapped on.”
Part 2 of the reunion special airs on Bravo Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
