Pippa Middleton Is Reportedly Expecting Her First Child With Husband James Matthews
The Middleton sisters are hit with baby fever! Pippa Middleton is pregnant with her first child with financier husband, James Matthews.
Middleton, 34, married Matthews, 42, in a lavish ceremony in May 2017.
The couple announced the joyful news to family and friends after the 12-week scan confirmed the pregnancy, a report from Sun revealed.
The baby is said to be due in October.
Middleton Family Ecstatic For Pippa, James
Nearly one year into their marriage, the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister is finally expecting a child.
"When Pippa found out she was pregnant, she was obviously thrilled and utterly overjoyed," a friend tells The Sun.
"Pippa and James have always known they wanted children," another insider adds. "They have made the most of their first few months of marriage and felt the time was right to expand their family."
Similarly thrilled at the prospect of a bundle of joy for the married couple is the Middleton clan, including Kate, who is also expecting a child at the moment.
"Naturally, big sister Kate and parents, Carole and Michael, were the first people she told - James aside - and they could not have been more delighted," the source continues. "It's been a tough few weeks for the two families, so this has provided some much-needed happiness and light relief."
Devastating Family Scandal
The pregnancy is a wonderful balm for the families, especially the Matthews clan after reports of patriarch David was arrested last March for alleged rape of a female minor back in the 1990s.
The 74-year-old former race car driver was reportedly released on bail, but he remains under judicial control. Investigation is ongoing.
David, through his spokesman, denies all the allegations "unequivocally."
Baby Fever For Middletons, Matthews
A slew of babies are set to join family reunions in the near future as the two Middleton sisters are expecting new additions to their respective families.
The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her third child with Prince William. She's set to give birth in just a few days to a sibling for Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
Similarly, James will also be sharing the first-time father experience with his own brother Spencer.
Spencer, also known as one of the former stars of Made in Chelsea, will also be welcoming a new baby with his model fiancée, Vogue Williams. The couple announced the joyful news in a shoot for Hello Magazine last March.
