Kim Zolciak Biermann has a meltdown about rumors she’s a racist on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe Leakes and fans show no mercy.

It looks like Leakes’s claims that Zolciak is a racist against the African American community was too much for her to handle during the conclusion of the show’s reunion special Sunday night. Zolciak has stated that Leakes's accusations caused her to receive death threats in the past.

Still, just when it seemed as if the season was wrapping up for good, a producer ran out of the women’s bathroom and said Zolciak wanted to speak with Andy Cohen, the show’s executive producer as well as the reunion host.

Cohen went into the bathroom and found Zolciak having a mental breakdown over the backlash she received from the cast during her appearance at the reunion.

She told Cohen that the claims that she’s racist are foolish and the major reason behind such speculation was that she's the only Caucasian woman who ever agreed to be on the show.

She went on to say that such rumors had swirled but never really went anywhere when she first joined the show roughly 10 years ago. Zolciak added that because social media didn’t exist back then like it does today, the majority of the audience and viewers didn’t believe that she was racist. She said that “racism wasn't real” when the show first aired.

She and her husband, Kroy Biermann, also questioned Cohen for not shutting down the ladies when they went too far against Zolciak. Zolciak also said she was disappointed in her friend Sheree Whitfield for not standing up for her.

It didn’t take long for Leakes to hop on Twitter and share her thoughts on Zolciak’s breakdown.


She also tweeted that she agreed with Cohen’s comment that Zolciak didn’t bring anything positive to offer all season. Leakes wasn’t the only one who had something to say about Zolciak’s teary moment concerning speculation that she’s racist.

A couple of fans blasted her for not being able to see the reality of racism.


One called out Zolciak’s famous friends Chrissy Teigen and Kim Kardashian.

Another came for Whitfield and said she didn’t check her friend for having an idea that racism doesn’t exist.


Another pointed out that Zolciak would no longer be on the show and added that they wouldn’t have it any other way.

One pointed out that Zolciak cried to Cohen that she was verbally executed by five Black women instead of using their names.

Another said Zolciak is a perfect example of today’s type of racism.
