Khloe Kardashian Says Own Happiness Should Be A Priority: ‘It Trickles Down To Everyone Around Us’
Amid the cheating allegations surrounding her baby daddy, NBA player Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian is putting her personal happiness first.
The new mother took to her app to share her optimistic hopes for the future.
Prioritize Your Own Happiness
The reality star and denim designer shared her desire for her extended family on her official app, saying she hoped her siblings would experience everlasting happiness. Kardashian also espoused the benefits of trickle-down happiness.
"I genuinely wish for all of my siblings that they find everlasting happiness in all that they do! Life is short, and at times, we put so many others before us, but one of our priorities should be our own happiness. Once you have that, it trickles down to everyone around us," she wrote.
It's nice to see the new mother choosing positivity, as the past few weeks have been hard for her. After delivering daughter True Thompson amid a cheating scandal involving Tristan Thompson, Kardashian has stayed almost entirely out of the public eye.
Rallying Around Their Girl
Videos emerged online purporting to show Thompson cheating on his partner with two different women. Although Kardashian hasn't spoken out about the situation directly, the extended Kardashian-Jenner clan have rushed to support her.
Khloe's sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West were in Cleveland, OH last week to be by her side.
"Everyone in the family wants to make sure Khloe will always have someone with her at all times. They have no plans to leave her alone," a source revealed to ET.
Should She Stay Or Should She Go
There are speculations involving the status of Khloe and Thompson's relationship even if the new mother is still in the NBA player's house in Cleveland. Sources close to the family are quick to point out that just because she hasn't left yet doesn't mean she won't. Khloe is reportedly torn on the best way to deal with her current situation with Tristan.
"Khloe loves him deeply. He is the father of her child, but she feels betrayed and blindsided," an insider revealed.
The source pointed out that, with her family and friends returning to L.A., the new mother will be left to ruminate on the situation with Thompson. She may decide to stay with him for the sake of True.
The post on her app has been taken by many as a cryptic response to the ongoing situation. Fans are speculating that Kardashian may finally be choosing her own happiness over someone else's and that she may leave Thompson as a result.
A Ticking Timebomb
Others rushed to social media to warn Kardashian not to stay with Thompson just for the sake of their daughter, as it may cause the NBA player to continue his bad behavior in the future. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is reportedly worried that Khloe may stay in Cleveland indefinitely, to try to make things work with Thompson rather than returning to the bosom of her family in California.
"Kris is concerned that the longer Khloé stays in Tristan's house with their daughter, True, she won't move back to Los Angeles as she had indicated she wanted to do before she gave birth in the aftermath of his cheating scandal," a source told US Weekly.
Whatever happens, it seems Kardashian is focusing on having a positive outlook in the future.
