Blac Chyna Mom-Shamed For Giving Dream Kardashian Pink Hair
Blac Chyna received lots of backlash for giving her and Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream, pink hair. Chyna debuted the child’s new look earlier this week.
Is Dream Too Young For Clip-Ins?
Chyna shared a picture of the one-year-old wearing pink extensions on Instagram.
“My beautiful baby girl,” wrote Chyna.
While she has since deleted the post, it didn’t take long for the photo to go viral. Fans came for the reality star and model for giving her daughter pink weave.
“It’s not necessary and it’s a baby,” wrote one follower. “Not a doll to play with.”
Another questioned why Chyna chose pink hair for the baby.
Still, not all fans were against Chyna and her decision to give Dream pink extensions. Some came to her defense on Twitter and said Chyna’s critics were overreacting.
“They’re just hair clips,” one pointed out. They added that their niece often rocks a unicorn head band that features pink fringe on it.
“It’s not like she was taken to a hair salon and had a full head of extensions sewn in,” continued the fan.
Interestingly enough, Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope Disick wore pink extensions recently as well.
Chyna's Had A Long Month
This isn’t the first time Chyna’s mothering skills have been questioned this year. While she’s mom to King Cairo from her previous relationship with Tyga, it might be safe to say her interactions with her and Rob’s daughter are the ones that get her the most attention.
Chyna made headlines earlier this month for attempting to use a stroller to attack a woman who got too close to Dream. The woman is said to have also called Chyna a “hood rat” before Chyna sprang into action. A video that surfaced on the Internet and went viral showed a livid Chyna swinging a pink stroller in the direction of the then mystery woman.
The woman, who was later identified as 18-year-old Alexis, said she never insulted Chyna. She also accused Chyna’s boyfriend, YBN Almighty Jay, 18, of punching her and her sister multiple times during the scuffle.
Chyna later spoke out and defended her actions. She said that while she is not a supporter of violence and getting physical, she reached her breaking point after the woman touched Dream. She said she will do whatever it takes to protect both of her children. King Cairo was also present during the incident.
