DJ Khaled Draws Criticism Over Resurfaced Video Of Him Explaining Why He Doesn't Perform Oral Sex
A video of DJ Khaled saying he doesn't perform oral sex on his wife has resurfaced, and it certainly did not sit well with a lot of people.
The video, where DJ Khaled was being interviewed on The Breakfast Club, came back from the dead three years after it was uploaded. The music producer said at the time that he feels that women should praise men, whom he referred to as "king."
To be fair, he also explained that a man should also praise the queen. DJ Khaled explained in the video that this could be done by asking women some questions, which were pretty unsettling.
"'How was dinner? You like the house you living in? You like all them clothes you getting?'" he enumerated.
But that wasn't the entire reason for the public uproar. DJ Khaled's stance on performing oral sex on women was what took the homerun. He divulged that he never did cunnilingus to his wife saying that rules are different for men.
"You gotta understand, I'm the don. I'm the king. We the king so there's some things y'all might not wanna do, [but] it gotta get done. I just can't do what you want me to do. I just can't," DJ Khaled explained, adding he is the one providing for the family.
He also said that it wouldn't be OK if his wife wouldn't perform oral sex on him. As expected, DJ Khaled gained a lot of criticisms for his eyebrow-raising statements.
Online Criticism
Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood, who came out as bisexual in 2011, called out the "I'm The One" singer and said that he should grow up. Furthermore, the 30-year-old actress explained that DJ Khaled has been missing out a lot on giving pleasure to women.
"Take it from someone who has pride and thoroughly enjoys pleasuring women. You should grow up," Wood wrote.
Wood's sentiments were echoed by most of the commenters, with one saying DJ Khaled "has the mind of a teenage boy." Smash Mouth also took to Twitter to say the producer is not at all a king.
DJ Khaled has been quiet since his video resurfaced, but he posted on Instagram seemingly reassuring his love for his wife, whom he referred to as his "queen" in the caption. Apart from that, he shared a family photo beside the pool.
