2018 Met Gala: 'Riverdale's Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, And Their Red Carpet Debut As A Couple
Riverdale's Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse just went from reel to real couple, which they seemingly announced during their red carpet appearance in the 2018 Met Gala.
Although Reinhart and Sprouse never revealed that they're dating, going to Met Gala together means things are pretty serious. So fans of BugHead, Betty and Jughead's love team, should rejoice knowing that the two looked sweet on the red carpet of the event, the first for the both of them.
The 21-year-old blonde wore an H&M off-shoulder silver sparkly dress with a long trail while the 25-year-old rocked a black tuxedo. Earlier that day, Reinhart teased her attendance at the 2018 Met Gala, but surprise, surprise! She eventually came and with Sprouse, too!
The rumored couple's attendance on the 2018 Met Gala can probably be the deal sealer. After all, Reinhart and Sprouse have long been rumored to be dating, and it's not totally out of the blue. On-screen, their roles have been swooning fans, thanks to their effective on-screen chemistry, and their PDAs have further fueled rumor mills.
Reinhart And Sprouse's PDAs
While they have kept mum on the real score between them, Sprouse and Reinhart's actions spoke louder than words. For instance, in March, the two were seated next to each other at the 35th Annual PaleyFest of the Paley Center for Media.
At the event, a fan asked the two if they were dating, which prompted a loud cheer from the crowd. Reinhart blushed and seemed to have gotten shy as she covered her face with one hand. Sprouse then just said that he had no comment on the matter.
In April, Sprouse made Reinhart his muse for some photographs, which can be seen on his Instagram account. Fans ultimately swoon over the former The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star's move.
Dating rumors have long been lingering since last year. In 2017 ComicCon, several eyewitnesses revealed that Reinhart and Sprouse are indeed dating after seeing the two typically together all the time. Moreover, sources said the Riverdale stars weren't shying away in showing PDA to their friends, who seemed to not mind the two getting cozy, so they probably know by now the real score between them.
While all their public appearances could only prove so much, what made people really say that they are a real-life couple prior to the 2018 Met Gala is their appearance in Europe for the RiverCon. Reinhart and Sprouse were photographed smooching and being sweet in the City of Love, Paris!
