Diane Kruger, Norman Reedus Expecting First Child Together
Congratulations are in order for another celebrity couple. Actors Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus confirm they're expecting a baby together.
Fueling The Fire
The German actress is pregnant with her first child. She's expecting the baby with her partner, Walking Dead star Reedus.
Rumors about Kruger's pregnancy first surfaced when she appeared at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
The National Treasure star wore loose clothing and reportedly refused alcohol throughout her appearance at the event.
The 41-year-old further fueled the rumors by posting a black-and-white photo of herself to Instagram, alongside a footprint emoji.
On-Set Romance
The two actors connected on the 2015 movie Sky, where they played the role of paramours.
The film sees Kruger's character leaving her husband to embark on a journey of self-discovery, which leads to a romantic involvement with Reedus.
Kruger admitted to PEOPLE, once filming on Sky wrapped up, that she was nervous of the romantic scenes she'd have to share with Reedus.
"I didn't know [him] before the film. We share a lot of intimate scenes. I was really nervous about meeting him and not being able to have a drink with him, or talk with him," she said back in 2016.
They promoted the film together at the Toronto International Film Festival, but rumors of their romantic relationship didn't surface until later.
Their real-life coupling was confirmed when the two were seen kissing publicly at this year's Golden Globes, and again at the Critics Choice Awards.
Although they only recently became red carpet official, there were suggestions that Kruger and Reedus were dating as early as March of last year, when witnesses spotted them smooching on the streets of New York.

This is the Walking Deadstar's second child, following his 18-month-old son Mingus Lucien, with ex Helena Christensen.
Kruger previously dated The Affair star Joshua Jackson, who to many fans will forever be Dawson's Creek's doe-eyed Pacey. Jackson also starred in Sky, alongside Kruger and Reedus.
The two were involved for ten years, ending their relationship in summer of 2016. Meanwhile, Reedus was dating supermodel Christensen for five years before splitting up in 2003.
Although they might seem like an outwardly odd pairing, Kruger and Reedus have very similar professional backgrounds.
Both started their careers off as models, with Reedus working throughout the nineties, ending with a high-fashion Prada campaign. Although he's starred in movies including Mimic and The Boondock Saints over the years, TV zombie phenomenon The Walking Dead is still his most high-profile role to date.
Likewise, Kruger walked runways and appeared in numerous campaigns as a model, appearing on the cover of various magazines including French Vogue. She started acting in the early 2000s, with National Treasure opposite Nicolas Cage being her big break.
She's since become a bit of an indie darling, culminating in her 2017 Best Actress win at Cannes for German-language movie In The Fade.
