Khloé Kardashian Returns Home To LA With Baby Girl True Thompson
After months of speculation, Khloe Kardashian returns home to California. The new mom even has baby True Thompson in tow for the visit.
A Warm Welcome
This is the two-month-old's first trip to L.A. since she was born, in Cleveland, on April 12. The extended Kardashian-Jenner clan prepared to welcome Khloe and True with balloons reading "Welcome Home Khloe" and cookies emblazoned with the little girl's face.
Mother and daughter have been recuperating in Cleveland while Khloe adjusts to her new life as a mother and tries to work out her complicated relationship with baby daddy and NBA star Tristan Thompson, who is based there with his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Footage emerged online, right before Khloe gave birth, purporting to show Thompson cheating on her with at least two other women. Speculation was rife that he had been unfaithful throughout the pregnancy, but she stood by him following True's birth, reputedly for the sake of the baby.
Screen-grabs, taken from Khloe's Snapchats, of the mother and daughter duo making their way home to California were shared on various social media accounts.
The photos show True being strapped into her car seat, hanging onto what appears to be her dad's finger, as well as the aforementioned balloons and cookies.
"Happy Father's Day," read the caption on the pic supposedly of Tristan.
It's worth noting the post in question was nowhere near as gushing as that directed at her brother Rob Kardashian, which Khloe shared to her app.
"My brother Rob is like my father in so many ways ... My dad would do anything for his kids and my brother is the same way for Dream. I'm so proud of him!" she gushed, referring to Rob's own daughter, Dream.
Is She Back For Good?
Although Khloe seems to be trying to work things out with her baby daddy, her visit to California comes just a few weeks after Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner told the press that she expected her daughter home very shortly.
"She'll be home soon, so it's really great," she revealed to Us Weekly, suggesting the move would be permanent.
According to sources close to the famous family, Khloe has been enjoying the relative solitude of life in Cleveland compared to that of L.A. She's been focusing on motherhood, as well as working on her relationship with Thompson.
Although the couple is doing their best to stay together for True's sake, they've apparently been fighting non-stop.
"Tristan is completely emotionally and physically exhausted from the cheating allegations. She doesn't know how she's going to rebuild trust in him. She knows her family and friends aren't supporting him or her right now," advised an insider.
It's unclear whether Tristan accompanied Khloe and True to California, but her family is highly unlikely to welcome him as warmly as they did her.
