Jessica Chastain Says Goodbye To Her Long Locks, Rocks ‘Summer Cut’
Jessica Chastain is the latest famous lady to chop her hair off for summer. The actress gets a trendy layered bob for the hotter months.
An Edgy Summer Cut
The 41-year-old Molly's Game star joins a growing group of A-list ladies opting for a shorter hairdo as the days get longer. The long-layered bob, or lob, is officially the look of the summer if these women are anything to go by.
Chastain, known for her striking, long golden-red hair, took to Instagram to share her stunning new look with fans. She wore an Aritzia trench coat and a stained pink lip for the occasion.
"Summer Cut," she captioned a moody photo of herself, tagging hairstylist Renato Campora.
Campora posted some pics of Chastain mid-cut, giving followers a glimpse at him carefully trimming strands around her face. He's been her go-to hairstylist for a while, perfecting the actress's old Hollywood glamor looks for many a red carpet event.
Campora is the ideal choice for her shorter style too, as he frequently posts photos of other female stars he's working with, whose haircuts are as stylish as hers.
Earlier this year, fellow actress Mila Kunis debuted her summer bob with baby bangs. In the interim, Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, Jenna Dewan, Vanessa Hudgens, Hailey Baldwin, Margot Robbie, Kat Graham, and tons more celebrity women have gone for the chop.
In fact, both Kunis and Robbie appear on Campora's Instagram account rocking their tousled, shorter hairstyles. The hairdresser even did Kunis's hair for the recent MTA Music Awards.

Chastain's departure from the sleek Hollywood glamor she's known for is perhaps the biggest shock thus far. She reportedly chopped off almost a foot of hair in the process.
It's an ideal length for a globe-trotting star on the promotional trail, and fans will surely be glad that Chastain stuck to her signature color. In keeping with her busy lifestyle, the actress actually got the cut while in Paris.
The day before revealing her brand-new look, Chastain attended the Piaget Sunlight Escape Paris 2018 High Jewelry Collection Party. She stunned in a cobalt blue butterfly-sleeved gown by Missoni.
The lob trend shows no signs of stopping as the weather gets warmer, but certain celebrities are going for even edgier looks.
