Madonna Shares Rare Photo Of Her 6 Children Together
Madonna is one proud mama. The iconic singer shares a sweet photo with all six of her children to social media, delighting longtime fans.
Family Trip
Madonna was visiting Malawi to celebrate the one year anniversary of the opening of Mercy James Pediatric Hospital, the children's hospital she helped to build via her Raising Malawi charity initiative.
The singer took to Instagram to share some adorable photos from the trip, including one showing the proud mother surrounded by all six of her kids.
"Tree of Life.... Mercy James Pediatric Hospital! One Year Later!," she captioned the photo, which was taken in front of a mural of a tree.
Mercy James is named after one of the four children she adopted from Malawi, which is in South Africa. Madonna's eldest daughter is Lourdes, 21, whom she had with ex Carlos Leon, followed by 17-year-old Rocco, whose father is British filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
Making It Count
Her four adopted kids are; David, 12, Mercy James, also 12, and twins Esterre and Stella, who are both five. Last year, Madonna told PEOPLE that she loves bringing her children to visit Africa.
"I love when my kids are in Africa. Their selfless behavior, compared to the normal complaining in the privileged world we live in, is great to see," she said at the time.
Madonna attended the opening ceremony for the hospital in Blantyre, Malawi, on July 11, 2017. She was welcomed as 'Daughter of This Nation' at the event.
The icon shared a number of pics from the hospital from this most recent trip, too, acknowledging the miracle of conjoined twins being separated, the 1,639 successful surgeries that were performed there over the past 12 months, and even posing in scrubs at one point.
MDNA x KKW Beauty
Madonna has been super busy lately, from taking care of her six children to charity work to her successful beauty line. Earlier this year she announced an upcoming collaboration with Kim Kardashian West on a makeup line.
The superstar singer teased the collab with her longtime friend on Twitter, later meeting up with the reality star and makeup maven in person at an event to celebrate the latest product in Madonna's MDNA Skin makeup line.
The two hosted live lesson sessions entitled "MDNA Skin Meets KKW Beauty" together in support of their respective lines for a week on social media.
Madonna launched her skincare line last year. It features a selection of luxury products including a $600 rejuvenation set.
