Caitlyn Jenner seems to make her relationship with Sophia Hutchins official during a very public outing. The two attend the 2018 ESPY Awards together.

Public Show Of Support

The two longtime friends and rumored girlfriends sat together at Wednesday's ceremony, which was held at the Microsoft Theater in L.A.

The 68-year-old reality star walked the red carpet alone but was photographed sitting with 21-year-old Hutchins once the show began proper.

Earlier in the night, she took to Instagram to post a shot of the two of them getting ready together prior to the event.

"Sophia and I off to the ESPY's. Bringing back old memories of my first public outing. Life is good!" read the caption.

The 2015 event, which she refers to in the post, marked Jenner's first public appearance since announcing her transition earlier that year.

Keeping Things Under Wraps

The two women, both identified as transgender, have kept quiet about the true nature of their relationship. They have popped up frequently on each other's Instagram accounts, however.

Wednesday's ceremony also marked their third public appearance in many weeks. On June 2, they were seen attending the 2018 Life Ball in Vienna, Austria. Then on June 20, they were spotted again, together at the 2018 Sally Awards, which was also held in Los Angeles.

Speculation has been rife about whether Jenner and Hutchins are in a romantic relationship since the time they took a romantic vacation to Los Cabos, Mexico last year.

However, in November, the reality star's rep confirmed to the press that she was not dating anyone. The two are just friends as part of a larger group of trans women.

Super Close Friends

Hutchins, on the other hand, confirmed she is in a relationship during a Q&A session on Instagram. When questioned about whether Jenner was her partner, though, she reportedly responded with an eye roll emoji.

She revealed in an interview that Jenner was a personal inspiration for her to finally transition. Hutchins admitted that the former Olympian's courage in opening up about her true identity inspired her to embrace her authentic self.

"[She] made it so much more real. Normal and successful people do this and people are OK when they do it," noted Hutchins at the time.

The two may be shy about confirming their status, but according to certain outlets, they're already living together in Malibu. Eyewitness reports claim Jenner and Hutchins are often spotted getting morning coffee at a neighborhood spot.

The 21-year-old's Instagram is full of glimpses into her life with Jenner, from golf outings to bikini photo shoots. She is often spotted posing in a bed that bears a striking resemblance to the one that the former Olympian has in her home too.
