Beyonce & Jay-Z North West Gifts: Kim Kardshian & Kanye West Pals Splurge $7,000 on Baby [REPORT]
Jay-Z and Beyonce reportedly spent more than $7,000 on gifts for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's newborn baby girl, North West.
The famous couple, who have a one-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, purchased gifts including personalized Christian Dior baby booties and a three-piece sterling silver Elsa Perettu Padova baby set with North's name on it, according to Femalefirst.
"Kanye is one of Jay-Z's closest friends so he wanted to get the best gift. They've had a girl themselves, so they know the right type of present," a source said. "They also brought Blue Ivy to come over and meet North. She's old enough now to be really interested in babies."
Jay-Z and Beyonce also bought Kardashian a Carla Monchen Swarovski crystal-studded high chair worth over $13,000, as a baby shower gift last month.
West introduced Kardashian to the Jay-Z and Beyonce back in 2012.
Through their were rumors that Kardashian and Beyonce didn't intially click, despite their partern's friendship, a source told The Sun newspaper that all differences have been resolved.
"Any bad blood between the ladies has all been brushed under the carpet now that Kim's a mom," the source said. "Beyoncé was even sharing weight-loss tips with her."
About two weeks ago, Beyonce sent her well wishes by posting a message to the couple on her official website, www.beyonce.com.
"Congratulations Kim & Kanye, Enjoy this beautiful moment together," the singer wrote in a post on her website on June 17, along with a picture of the visibly happy first-time parents.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z released his 12th solo studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail Thursday morning to Samsung users.
The rapper's special rooftop performance, scheduled for July 4 at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, was cancelled due to concerns of fireworks and terrorism.
