Britney Spears, who has been busy working on her next album, revealed what will make it different from her previous seven records.

"Really excited to give you a taste of my new album. Can't wait to share what I've been working on," she wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. "Going to be my most personal album ever."

Fans seemed ecstatic with her news retweeting her statement over 7,000 times.

"I can't wait sis," responded one user.

"Oh my god, Britney. I'm so excited. I can't even explain how much I can't wait for this album. Love you!" tweeted another.

The album will be the follow-up to Femme Fatale which was released in 2011. That album, which featured hits Till The World Ends and Hold It Against Me, peaked at No. 1 on Billboard.

The mother of two also spoke about the album in an interview with Ryan Seacrest in June.

"I want to definitely take this album and have a new approach with it and make it a little different than anything I've ever done," she said.

During the interview, she also spoke about Will.i.am, who will be producing the new record.

"Will has a lot of really interesting different tracks that I've listened to that are really cool that I haven't actually written on yet, but there's a lot of guitar. I think people will be surprised with this album. It's gong to be really different," she added.

The album, she also told Ryan Seacrest, will be released by the end of 2013.

Aside from her own album, the former X Factor judge released Ooh La La, a song from the Smurfs 2 soundtrack. The tune, she told Seacrest, is about "feeling good" and that moment "when a guy makes you giddy."

The singer also recently filmed a video for the track. She teased fans with some photos from the shoot on her Twitter in June.
