Nicki Minaj Married A Killer and a Sex Offender
The ink hasn't dried up on that marriage license Nicki Minaj signed days ago and she's been told she married the wrong guy.
TV host Wendy Williams goes all out and with all honesty when she threw a shade to Minaj about her getting married recently.
Back in August, Wendy Williams found herself giving words of comfort to Nicki Minaj to encourage her about her relationship with Kenneth Petty. People shared a clip of it on Twitter and Minaj couldn't help but be thankful to the host. She thanked her for using her platform to spread positive vibes on Nicki and Kenneth's union.
On Monday, the Queen rapper took to Instagram to share with everyone that she and Kenneth have exchanged vows. They flex their love and showed everyone their first picture as Mr. and Mrs. Petty. It was their Barbie and Ken moment.
Nicki posted a video clip on Instagram where the two can be seen hitting the right angles under the summer sun. Petty was standing next to her. Shirtless.
They are now the Pettys.
Bun in the oven?
Barely two months after Wendy's encouraging post, though, the relationship between Minay and Petty has been stained when Williams took to her show her opinion on Nicki's marriage. She expressed her speculation about why the two got married so fast -- Nicki looks like she has a bun in the oven.
"Can you imagine a burgeoning belly on that burgeoning hips?" Wendy asked. She emphasized the point by saying how much plastic the baby would be sharing with.
Williams further commented on how Minaj would look considering that she is short with a growing belly, huge hips and a handful of boobs.
Petty's Past
Although she started it with a comment on a possible pregnancy, the 55-year-old TV star got her eyes on Kenneth Petty all along.
Williams started commenting on how little people know about what Kenneth Petty did for a living.
How much is known of Kenneth Petty? When the news of Nicki Minaj dating Kenneth Petty came out, the two got a handful of reactions from their fans. As mentioned earlier, Williams was one of those who gave them encouraging words despite all the negative criticism.
Now, however, it looks like the tide has turned.
Wendy revealed that all she knew of Petty is that he did jail time for being a sex offender. The talk show host took a pause to make sure that the audience knew that what they heard was right. She wanted to see how they would react to the revelation -- and she did get what she wanted.
Wendy Williams supported the fact the Nicki Minaj won't be too surprised by the thought of marrying a sex offender. She said that Minaj's brother served jail time too for being a sex offender. Wendy was referencing Jelani Maraj, convicted in 2017 for repeatedly raping his stepdaughter when she was only 11 years old.
Williams further revealed that Kenneth Petty also served seven years in prison for first-degree manslaughter.
"So he is a killer and a sex offender?" Wendy asked for emphasis. She then threw her arms in the air and ended the segment by congratulating Nicki Minaj, with a whole lot of sarcasm.
The news of her marriage shocked the world, but it no surprise that it elicited a number of negative reactions.
Kenneth's past may have been revealed, but that doesn't change anything. In their Instagram posts, the two looked really in love. If they are happy, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
