'Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder Caught Kissing Model Ana Beatriz Barros as '50 Shades of Grey' Movie Casting Rumors Swirl [PHOTOS]
Sparks were flying between Ian Somerhalder and model Ana Beatriz Barros.
The pair were photographed passionately kissing while filming an ad for Azzaro perfume in Lake Como, Italy, Wednesday.
The Vampire Diaries star stood on a balcony overlooking the lake and brought the heat with his co-star.
In the ad, Ian can be seen slipping the Brazilian model's white dress off her shoulder, nuzzling her neck and caressing her hair. (See the photos.)
"The scene is very hot," an eyewitness told InTouch Weekly.
Meanwhile, rumors are still swirling that Somerhalder could be in the running to play Christian Grey in the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie.
"One can never get bored of people asking about a huge project," Somerhalder, 34, told Metro Online. "Everyone has to realize every guy in Hollywood is up for this role. It could be anyone - that's how that goes."
Author E.L. James has insisted that execs are still a long way from casting, Somerhalder is on her radar.
"I have some ideas," she told the New York Post's Page Six in January about casting. "But it may not be who you expect."
Although casting rumors have been swirling for months, no official casting decisions have been announced.
Last week, 50 Shades of Grey was given an official release date: August 1, 2014.
