Leading up to its season 3 airing in the fall, the writers - and even a cast member - of Revenge took to Twitter throughout the first week of July to build hype and hint at what is in store for the ABC series.

The show follows Emily Thorne's vengeful tactic against residents in The Hamptons that she believes assisted in the death of her father years ago. In season 2, one of her closest friends - Amanda Clarke - dies, Declan Porter is killed as a result of a explosion planned by Conrad Grayson and Emily's best friend Nolan Ross is arrested in the finale episode.

So how angry is Emily when season 3 begins?

The Revenge Writers official Twitter account posted on Wednesday, "EVERYONE WILL PAY #Season3IsComing #Revenge." Emily will have many new opportunities to get even with the Graysons, especially with Charlotte Grayson's pregnancy and the recent visit by Victoria Grayson's longlost son Patrick, whom she abandoned when he was a child.

Aiden Mathis left Emily in the season 2 finale after saying she has become obsessed with getting revenge and needs to back down. The final moments of the episode included Emily revealing her true identity to Jack Porter - that she is his real childhood sweetheart Amanda Clarke.

The Revenge Writers tweeted on Tuesday, "Sometimes the innocent get hurt. But one by one, the guilty will pay." #Season3IsComing #GetSome."

ABC has yet to release start dates for the fall TV lineup. It was revealed earlier in July that the season 3 premiere episode will be titled Fear and begin with a five-month time jump having taken place. Gabriel Mann, who plays Nolan Ross in the show, tweeted on Tuesday his reaction after reading the script for the premiere episode. The actor posted, "All I can say is after just reading @Revenge S3 EP1 it's time to #RallyTheRevengers cause it just got real."

A same excited reaction was tweeted by the Revenge Writers account in a message predicting what fans will think of the premiere episode: " "!@$ahhh^$&*omg%$@!#'- You guys, after you see #RevengeSeason3Premiere."

Filming for season 3 will officially kick off on July 15, Mann confirmed. A photo of production notes uploaded by a Revenge writer in late June confirmed that episode 4 of season 3 will include a "Nolan storyline."
